Get to Know the TITAN eCCR
We have spent the last five years studying other rebreathers and listening to our customers needs and desires. During this R&D phase we came to understand our customers needs.
Titan eCCR Features:
- Compact size (15”W x 21”H x 7”D)
- Lightweight (48lbs with CO2 absorbent and filled AL13 cylinders)
- Back mounted counterlungs for clean unobstructed chest area.
- Exhale tee piece provides excellent water diversion to the exhale counterlung.
- Dumps located on bottom of counterlungs for easy water clearing.
- Wing specifically designed for rebreathers. Rebreathers tend to be bottom heavy because of the valves and first stages. Our wing provides more lift in this area.
- Durable hard anodized aluminum backplate/lung cage. Adjustable height lower harness mount for precise fitting.
- Adjustable harness system
- Allows for the use of any wing and harness.
- Uses ExtendAir CO2 solid state absorbent. Dust free, ultra-low work of breathing, and no channeling.
- Clear injection molded canister, scrubber sleeve, and head allows for a multitude of advantages. Visual inspection of sealing o-rings, scrubber in place, and buddy check of water collected in canister.
- O-ring sealed DSV for smooth, leak-free, one-handed operation.
- Spiral breathing hose for easy clearing and cleaning.
- All-in-one manual gas addition block. Located over the right shoulder for easy addition of onboard diluent/oxygen and an off-board gas. Diluent button is raised for easy locating without looking. Uses standard BC QD connections. ADV with isolation valve.
- Miflex HP hoses on green and black SPG’s.
Control System:

- Utilizes two independent systems.
- Shearwater HUD (Head-Up Display). Shows actual PPO2 of all three sensors simultaneously.
- Shearwater Predator controller. Handles PPO2 display of all three sensors simultaneously all the time, setpoint control, and decompression information.
- Pursuit and HUD each have their own backup battery. 50+ hours of backup operation. Each operates independently from the other including calibration.
- Primary battery is an external rechargeable Li-Ion battery. 100+ hours of operation. Modular battery system uses same charger as our dive lights. Powers the solenoid and charges/maintains backup batteries for the Pursuit and HUD.
- No electronics or batteries in the breathing loop.
- Oxygen sensors use gold plated SMB connections. Simple screw in mounting/ connection.
